Staying at Budget Host Inn had its ups and downs. The room itself, a Queen Room, was appropriately priced but felt outdated. The bed was comfortable enough for a quick sleep. I appreciated the decent water pressure in the shower, a nice way to start the day. Coffee in the morning was surprisingly good too! There were several drawbacks. I had to share one microwave with other guests in the common area, quite inconvenient. The cleaning didn't hit the mark. I noticed the room wasn't vacuumed properly and lacked basic items like toilet paper. Staff efficiency was a concern as well. Even with the 'do not disturb' sign out, my rest was disrupted multiple times by housekeeping. The general safety atmosphere felt off, especially being a solo traveler. The location was a plus, with stores and restaurants nearby. Some staff were pleasant, but the initial check-in experience left a lot to be desired due to rudeness. A bit of care in maintenance and training staff could really elevate the experience here.

The pool area is hazardous with remodeling supplies everywhere!!! Limited room features like missing microwaves create unnecessary inconvenience!!! Inconsistent cleanliness across common areas is a glaring issue that needs attention!!!

The staff was cute. They also offer a great grocery shopping service, perfect for those on an extended stay.
